The summer heat might be on, but all you need is a fresh juice or a refreshing smoothie to kickstart your day. What’s more, you can make some of these drinks – healthy ones, even – at home!
Here are some fresh and refreshing drinks you can make at home:
- Orange Juice. We all know that orange is an excellent source of vitamin C. But did you know that it’s also a great source of fiber and a good source of vitamin A, B, calcium and potassium? Thus, the reason why this is one fresh drink that you can easily make at home. All you need is a bunch of peeled oranges and a juicer KINGZ – best known for gnashing (or in a simpler term, crunching) the fruit and releasing more juice from its pulp.
- Green Smoothie. There’s a reason why our parents always make us eat vegetables before. Green and leafy vegetables are not just rich in vitamins and minerals, but also detox your body, maintain your weight, and even boost your immune system for the long run. Make this refreshing drink with at least 2 cups of green and leafy vegetables, along with your choice of fruit, in a juicer or a blender.
- Chai Tea. Tea is not just known for its antioxidant properties and being a healthier option than coffee. It’s also known for helping one to lose weight and to prevent serious diseases like cancer or diabetes. Even more so, you can mix it up with other food – without compromising its many benefits. To make a Chai tea, you only need to use a juicer or a blender for mixing ingredients such as black tea, sugar, and vanilla.
In conclusion, there are lots of recipes – including the ones above – which are not only easy to make, but also healthy to drink. And with that, is the realization that while most people often take health for granted, one can always choose to live healthily – even if you’re the kind of person who only eats or drinks his or her favorites. You see, living healthily doesn’t mean entirely giving up on your favorites. It’s more like being careful about what you eat or drink, but using that kind of understanding to incorporate “healthy” into “favorite.”
